When I first asked Marko about doing a photo shoot he wasn’t sure. Through the conversation he told me about his passion for making origami masks and he said that if he could pose in some masks then he would be up for the shoot. On the day Marko turned up with some beautiful masks that he’d made especially for the collaboration. Geometric, medieval, sensual, stark and beautiful, the masks that Marko made were perfect. His idea works so well with my style of obscured models in a moody studio shoot.
